It has been 19 years since Katelyn arrived in our lives. Her mom and dad have been kind enough to share her with my family through many wonderful times. While we learned to parent together from diapers to driving, it was my a joy to have Katelyn and her family in our world. She was an extremely shy baby and toddler who hid behind her mother for many years. She would barely let my son into her play room and 18 years later, she was his prom date. I've seen her grow up so fast and become such an outgoing and bubbly young woman, and now I get to be part of Katelyn's grown up life. I am not ready despite what she is ready for. How can time go so quickly? When I look at her now, I still see that little quirky grin and dressed up princess. I guess this is the part about senior portraits that really gets to me. The ones I know very well are sometimes a little rough on this old mama bear. I actually cried as I prepared her photos tonight. I am so proud and thankful for her and so excited for what lies ahead. She is a stellar student and is about to become a college athlete. The world is ready for her continued success. Thanks Katelyn for coming along on a ride with the Tuckers!!! We love you!!!
